Pre-owned Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ref. 15400ST.00.1220ST.02 was initially released in 2012, featuring the caliber 3120 with a 60-hour power reserve and a Tapisserie pattern dial. The Royal Oak is widely regarded as the first stainless steel luxury sports watch. It was developed by Gerald Genta back in the early 1970s. It quickly inspired an entire genre of watches, from the Patek Philippe Nautilus to the IWC Ingenieur, and more recently, the Rolex Land-Dweller. It has all the hallmarks of the genre, including that sleek, integrated bracelet, an octagonal bezel decorated with exposed screws, and a patterned dial. These watches are incredibly sought after, making the 41mm stainless steel model a particularly exciting find for those interested in acquiring a Royal Oak.
