Initially, the watch was appropriately named the Chronomat B01, then later the Chronomat 01, and finally just the Chronomat 44 after the size of the watch rather than the movement, which has become a mainstay of the brand's portfolio since the ref. AB011012 debuted in 2009. The watch is in stainless steel and features a remarkable blue dial, black snailed sub-dials, and a 4:30 date display.
