Pre-owned Breitling Headwind ref A4535511/B536 (2003) is a discontinued but distinctive model from Breitling’s Windrider collection. It was designed as a more elegant, dress-oriented counterpart to Breitling’s sportier tool watches while maintaining the brand’s signature bold styling. Sadly, the collection was discontinued in the mid-2000s to make way for the incoming Chronomat Evolution. However, today, we have an example for sale in excellent secondhand condition with a striking black dial. The watch face is solid silver with black over the top. Instead of printing the text on the dial, the black surface has been removed to expose the silver finish below, thus creating the text you see on the dial here. It sports an onion-shaped crown, a collector's favorite in many circles, and an easy-to-grip rider tab bezel with raised tabs at each quarter. With a chronometer-rated movement and a polished steel finish, this Breitling is both luxurious and reliable.
