As a contemporary Breitling, it uses newer design elements, such as scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, longer-lasting luminescent material, a uni-directional bezel, and the caliber 17 self-winding mechanical movement. Stainless steel contrasts with the black dial, bezel, and rubber strap, creating a desirable and versatile aesthetic. This model features "XIX" instead of the depth rating, which is usually located below the distinction "AUTOMATIC."
