The square/dot seconds hand was swapped out around 2007 for the arrow-tipped hand you see here. Furthermore, around the late 2000s, Breitling upgraded the dial to sport outlined Arabic numerals (except for the 6/9/12 markers) and a red SuperOcean logo. The model you see here couples these upgrades with a colorful orange dial with luminescent hands, a 24-hour scale, and a 3 o'clock date display. The watch is water resistant up to 5,000 feet and features a distinctive rider tab bezel, sapphire crystal, and self-winding mechanical movement with a 42-hour power reserve.
