W20090X8 sports a similar square-shaped case surrounded by a bezel with visible screw heads as early examples of the Santos as well as the iconic Cartier Roman numeral dial with sword-shaped hands. On this modern watch, the hands are filled with lume, and a self-winding caliber 8630 mechanical movement is hard at work inside the case.
