Pre-owned Cartier Santos Dumont ref WSSA0032 "Extra Large" model is a contemporary example of the original Santos watch. The collection was developed in the early 1900s for close Cartier friend and renowned aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont and features a similar square-shaped case, bezel dotted with screws, beaded crown decorated with a blue cabochon, Roman numeral dial, and leather strap. However, as a modern Cartier, the case is covered by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and the caliber 430 MC in-house movement beats inside the case. It's a refined and contemporary Cartier that holds fast to one of the firm's most enduring and iconic designs. This model is an XL Cartier. The case measures 46.6 mm x 33.9 mm and 7.5mm tall and delivers 100 meters of water resistance.
The watch looked nice in pictures, but was even better in person. For a pre-owned Cartier watch, it almost looks new.
