Pre-owned Cartier Tank Must ref W1009554 (1998) is a vermeil tank, a variation of the series produced decades ago in a bid to appeal to a broader range of collectors. It has the same basic aesthetics as any other Tank: the long brancards, the Roman numeral dial, the gold case, and the leather strap. The difference here is that the case isn't solid gold. Instead, it's gold-plated and inside beats a quartz movement. These design elements allow the watch to maintain a very attractive price point without sacrificing the brand's time-honored design codes. This example also features a white Roman dial with a lovely double "C" Cartier logo motif.
I don’t really know anything about watches, but this watch just felt nice. It’s light, comfortable, and the rectangle design is something that made me feel like I had to have this watch. Some small scratches but other than that it looks pretty good.
