Pre-owned Must de Cartier is a variation of the broader and much-beloved Tank series, developed by the brand in the 1970s to introduce similar design codes to a wider audience. As such, these watches often featured gold-plated cases instead of solid gold, making them more accessible. This Cartier is a curious model because it pairs the gold-plated case with a rare and magnificent Tridor dial. The stripes you see here are made of three different precious metals: white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold. The result is a dynamic dial that is very much reminiscent of the era in which this watch was produced. Nostalgic yet timeless, and full of Cartier Tank charm.
I don’t really know anything about watches, but this watch just felt nice. It’s light, comfortable, and the rectangle design is something that made me feel like I had to have this watch. Some small scratches but other than that it looks pretty good.
