Cartier began developing its own movements in the early 2000s after opening a dedicated manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, with the full rollout of its first everyday automatic caliber, the 1904 MC, starting in 2010. That’s exactly what you’ll find inside this watch: the caliber 1904-PS MC. The watch itself is sportier than most Cartier designs, with a 42mm stainless steel case, a bold black Roman numeral dial, and a black rubber strap that's very versatile and easy to wear. It still carries the signature Cartier aesthetic, though, just with a more modern, robust feel on the wrist.
