Pre-owned Pasha De Cartier ref W3008051 (circa 1990s) immediately stands apart from the rest of Cartier’s lineup. Originally created in the 1930s and later reintroduced in the 1980s, the Pasha took a different direction from the brand’s more rectangular icons, opting for a bold round case, distinctive shoulder-style lugs, and that signature screw-down crown cap attached by a small chain. It’s equal parts functional and decorative. This particular example is on the more luxurious side of the Pasha family, featuring a 35mm gold case with a diamond-set bezel, along with diamond pushers and a diamond-set crown cap. The slate tri-compax dial adds depth, with a unique layout that places the date display in the top sub-dial at 12, alongside chronograph registers. Sword-shaped hands filled with luminescent material and subtle dot hour markers keep it legible despite the added detail. Paired with a leather strap, it’s a more elevated, jewelry-forward take on a design that was never meant to blend in.
