Pre-owned Cartier Santos is also commonly referred to by collectors as the Santos Octagon. It's a bit of a curious watch that debuted in the mid-1980s, not too long after luxury sports watches like the Royal Oak and Nautilus had started to take the market by storm. While there is something effortlessly Cartier about this model, it does somewhat remind us of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, with its similarly shaped bezel and visible screws. Here, the watch is sized for a lady's wrist and is presented in elegant two-tone. The case and bracelet are made of steel with gold screws adorning the bezel. In contrast, the bezel is made of gold with steel screws. Additionally, the time is displayed in true Cartier fashion via bold Roman numerals, blued steel hands, and a Chemin de Fer minute ring.
The watch looked nice in pictures, but was even better in person. For a pre-owned Cartier watch, it almost looks new.
