The Big Bang was released in 2005 and was the driving force behind a much-needed revival in the Hublot brand. As its name would suggest, the Big Bang is a polarizing watch that takes much inspiration from the original Hublot watch from the 1980s, which included a rose gold case and a black rubber bracelet. The 2005 Big Bang also features a black ceramic bezel, a black "Carbon Fiber" dial, and a unique Big Bang case.
One of two Big Bang references released, the ref. 301.PB.131.RX includes Arabic hour markers on the dial. Its counterpart does not.
