Pre-owned IWC Aquatimer Automatic ref IW328803 (2025) is the modern expression of IWC’s dedicated dive watch collection. The Aquatimer traces its roots back to 1967, when IWC introduced its first purpose-built diver designed for serious underwater use. Since then, the collection has evolved into one of the brand’s most technical tool watches, mixing professional dive functionality with the clean, engineering-focused design IWC is known for. This current-generation model measures 42mm in stainless steel and features a black dial with bold hour markers and hands for excellent underwater legibility. One of the defining features of this watch is its external/internal rotating bezel system. Using IWC’s SafeDive mechanism, the external bezel controls an internal timing ring beneath the crystal. It can only rotate counterclockwise, an important safety feature for divers, while also protecting the timing scale from accidental knocks. The watch is water resistant to 300 meters and includes a date display at 3 o’clock. Inside is IWC’s in-house caliber 32111 automatic movement, with an impressive 120-hour power reserve.
