Pre-owned IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XV Spitfire ref. IW325311 comes from a particularly interesting point in the evolution of IWC’s famous Mark series. Introduced in 1999 as the successor to the Mark XII, this model grew slightly to 38mm, giving the classic pilot’s watch a little more wrist presence while keeping the clean, instrument-inspired design intact. This Spitfire edition adds its own personality with a black dial, broad luminescent sword-shaped hands, and a prominent luminescent triangle at 12 o’clock—a traditional pilot-watch design element designed to help orient the dial at a glance. A minute track runs around the perimeter, while the date is tucked neatly into 3 o’clock. The stainless steel case is paired with a leather strap. Inside is the automatic caliber 30110, an ETA-based movement used by IWC during this generation.
