Pre-owned Jaeger-Lecoultre Polaris Automatic ref Q9008480 (2019) is part of the brand’s modern return to sport watches, introduced with the Polaris collection in 2018. The lineup draws inspiration from the original 1968 Polaris diver, but this version takes a more refined, everyday approach. It has the sporty DNA, just toned down for easier wear outside the water. The 41mm stainless steel case has a slim 11.2mm profile that sits comfortably on the wrist. The deep blue dial is where most of the character comes through. It uses a mix of finishes, sunburst, grained, and opaline, which gives it a lot of depth depending on the light. White luminescent numerals and faceted hands ensure legibility, while the internal rotating rehaut adds extra functionality. Inside is the Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 898, a manufacture automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve.
