Q1666520 (2015) has the kind of high-complication watchmaking that has earned Jaeger-LeCoultre its reputation as the "Watchmaker of Watchmakers." Limited to just 200 pieces, this impressive model features a substantial 43mm platinum case and is paired with a traditional leather strap. There is quite a bit happening on the dial, yet everything is arranged with the refined aesthetic expected from the Master Grande Tradition collection. A second time zone adds practical functionality for travelers, while the date is displayed via a pointer hand and a numbered scale running around the outer edge of the dial. The real attraction, however, sits prominently at 6 o'clock. The exposed tourbillon continuously rotates the escapement and balance within its cage, offering an unobstructed view of one of mechanical watchmaking's most celebrated complications.
