Description: Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600 Stainless Steel
Pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller ref 16600 (1996) is an extension of the iconic Submariner diver's watch. Both feature a similar design set with a waterproof case, uni-directional time-lapse bezel, and self-winding movement. What sets this model apart from the Submariner is the Helium Escape Valve built into the case. This feature allows the gasses that accumulate within the case during deep saturation dives to escape without dislodging the crystal over the dial, thus maintaining the integrity of the case up to 4,000 feet. Ref. 16600 is a prized collector's item among those in the know because it also features a Cyclops-free crystal, white gold-trimmed luminous hour markers, and an aluminum bezel top ring.

I purchased a Sea-Dweller as a gift, which I haven't given yet. As usual, the watch arrived via next-day air from FEDEX as promised. I can't imagine a new watch looking much better. This is my 3rd purchase from Bob's Watches in the past year, so that should tell you how strongly I feel about their business. I wouldn't buy a used Rolex (or other luxury watch) from anyone else.
Everything was perfect. Tanya was amazing, with helping me find what I wanted. Her communication and responsiveness was very quick. Free next day shipping to top it all.
Called with questions and they were all answered. Talked with Tara and she took special care of me and the watch. I ordered it Sunday evening and it was in my hands Tuesday morning. Bob's Watches does what they say they are going to do in an efficient manner.
As advertised; beautiful piece.
The condition of the SD 16600 was listed as Excellent. Upon arrival, it was closer to Mint. I could not find anything to complain about the used condition. Even the green sticker was on the caseback. It runs a -1 sec/day and the bezel holds center at 12 o'clock. The lugs' lines are sharp and not polished round. There literally is nothing I can find wrong with this 21 year old watch.
