The Rolex 226659 Yacht Master 42 is relatively new to the brand's catalog and was released to market during Basel World 2019. Its feature set is deceiving in that it offers a traditionally sporty design via a lacquered Maxi dial filled with Chromalight plots, a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert, and a rubber Oysterflex bracelet while also boasting an all-gold finish crafted from 18 karat white gold. Luxurious without appearing so outright, this take on the Yacht-Master is the perfect balance between sport and dress. As a newer regatta timer, the ref. 226659 is also equipped with a reliable Oysterlock clasp with a Glidelock extension system, a Triplock screw-down crown, and a calibre 3235 Perpetual movement with an improved Chronergy escapement and a 70-hour power reserve.
