The limited-edition Omega Speedmaster ref. 322.214.171.124.01.002 was developed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission. The Speedmaster was famously present during all six lunar missions, so it seems only appropriate that the brand would celebrate each mission's milestones. A special Apollo 11 emblem adorns the sub-dial at 9 o'clock. Additionally, the case back is engraved with the same Apollo 11 design. The engravings "THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON," "XXXX/7969," and "JULY 21, 1969" are also present on the case back. Lastly, this edition of the Speedmaster is powered by the same movement that went to the Moon, the calibre 1861. View additional models by visiting our OMEGA watches collection.
