There is nothing more exciting than getting your hands on a unique, Limited Edition watch. The Omega Speedmaster "CK2998" ref. 3126.96.36.199.02.001 is one such watch that takes the legacy of the brand's iconic Moon Watch one step further with this stunning steel and blue tone edition. The original CK2998 was introduced in 1959. That model inspired the design behind this example of the Speedmaster and was produced in limited quantities of just 2,998 pieces.
Its feature set includes modern amenities, such as a ceramic bezel insert topped with a Superluminova Tachymeter scale, Rhodium-plated hands that are filled with Superluminova, and an Omega calibre 1861 movement. Similar to the CK2998, the dial is topped with a lollipop seconds hand. This Limited Edition Omega also includes a case back adorned with a Seahorse emblem and special engravings that read "SPEEDMASTER", "CK2998", and "LIMITED EDITION".

Dear Bob's, This is a watch that sold out on day 1 of being issued. From time to time I would see it on Ebay. In all instances well over the initial price of $6500 US. Between the price and the potential condition issues, I was never able to pull the trigger. When I saw the watch of my dreams and read the details, I pulled the trigger. I knew it would be in like new condition because I sold Bob's one of my Rolex watches recently. The price paid was fair and Bob's was extremely picky about the condition. By the way, the price I paid for my new Omega was slightly less than the initial offering price. A price that represented an exceptional value. Thank You Bob's PS it arrived in perfect condition the following morning at 8:45
