Pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional ref. 310.32.42.50.01.001 (2022) is a newer model Speedy, yet it looks similar to the watches included in the lunar mission kits during the 1960s. Like the chronographs supplied to the Apollo astronauts, the case is outfitted with a shatter-proof Hesalite crystal, a black step dial, and a "Dot over 90" aluminum bezel. It runs on hand-wound technology and features a similar asymmetrical case as the 4th generation Speedmaster worn on the Moon and a modern coated nylon fabric strap. The caliber 3861 powers this expression of the Moon Watch and features a 50-hour power reserve and the distinction of a Master Chronometer with resistance to 15,000 gauss and a Co-Axial escapement.
My 1998 Omega Speedmaster completely exceeded my expectations. The watch was absolutely perfect! It looked as if it came right out of the factory. And Bob's Watches was tremendous to work with!
I had to take a second look when I first noticed this watch. This is currently the centerpiece of my collection. Whenever I wear it out it always becomes a conversation peice.

Dear Bob's, This is a watch that sold out on day 1 of being issued. From time to time I would see it on Ebay. In all instances well over the initial price of $6500 US. Between the price and the potential condition issues, I was never able to pull the trigger. When I saw the watch of my dreams and read the details, I pulled the trigger. I knew it would be in like new condition because I sold Bob's one of my Rolex watches recently. The price paid was fair and Bob's was extremely picky about the condition. By the way, the price I paid for my new Omega was slightly less than the initial offering price. A price that represented an exceptional value. Thank You Bob's PS it arrived in perfect condition the following morning at 8:45

I've wanted a Moonwatch for over 20 years since I saw one in a space magazine in elementary school. I finally own one and couldn't be happier. Using the NATO strap until I can get several links removed from the metal band, but oddly enough I actual really like the NATO strap...
