Omega Speedmaster "Ed White"
The Omega Speedmaster was present during many firsts in space exploration, including the first lunar landing and the first spacewalk. Ref. 311.30.40.30.01.001 honors the Speedmaster ref. 105.003 worn by US astronaut Ed White as he performed the first American spacewalk in 1965, complete with a similar 3rd-generation style case and the resurrection of the famous caliber 321 movement. Other features include a black ceramic bezel decorated with a white enamel Tachymeter scale, a black step dial with the famous trio of chronograph registers, side pushers, and durable stainless steel. The Omega 311.30.40.30.01.001 also features scratch-resistant and anti-reflective sapphire and the caliber 321 hand-wound movement with a 55-hour power reserve.
