Pre-Owned Watch Condition Examination
This Omega watch is in overall vintage condition with surface wear to the clasp, bracelet, case and bezel. Hands and Index hour markers have darkened a shade. Original bezel has visible dings and dents. Acrylic crystal shows light surface scratches.
Omega Speedmaster
The Omega 145.022 is the ultimate grail for many loyal collectors. It took the market by storm in 1968, bringing with it a then-new movement, a new design of the seconds hand, and a printed logo on the dial. It’s an excellent chance to dip your toes into the world of vintage watch collecting without breaking the bank, which is why so many adore this edition of the famous Speedy. There are quite a few variations available on the used Omega market, including the handsome example you see here. Features of this Speedmaster include the hand-wound cal. 861 movement, an acrylic crystal, a slim tachymeter bezel, and Omega's iconic step dial. It was produced after the Speedmaster went to the Moon in 1969, making it an official Moon Watch.
