Description: Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot
Pre-owned/unworn Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot ref 01 733 7705 4134-SET 5 23 14FC is the epitome of aviator watch design. Its design includes a convenient "altimeter" that can measure altitudes of up to 15,000 feet by detecting changes in air pressure as well as a Sellita base calibre 733 SW 200-1 movement, a comfortable textile strap bracelet, and a 47mm waterproof case in steel. The altimeter circles the dial, which displays the time via contrasting luminous hour markers and hands for an easy reading at-a-glance. Its design is quite clever and includes a thin altimeter needle in laminated carbon fiber that fits beneath the movement, allowing the watch to maintain a manageable profile while also accommodating the altimeter function. While the Oris Altimeter was developed with professional pilots in mind, avid collectors might find it a handy tool while hiking, mountain climbing, or while exploring any high-altitude environment.
