Oris Divers Carl Brashear Calibre 401 Limited Edition Blue Dial
Carl Brashear was the first African American US Navy Diver. He was a trailblazer, eventually rising to the position of Master Diver and even making his mark in Hollywood with the 2000 adaptation of his life Men of Honor. Oris pays tribute to the legendary diver with the 3rd iteration of the Carl Brashear Diver, presented in bronze and produced in limited quantities of just 2,000 pieces. We have a very handsome example for sale here today in UNWORN secondhand condition. The bronze finish has aged beautifully to a lovely patina, and the dial is decorated with "Light Old Radium" Super-LumiNova developed by Oris to mimic vintage lume. This design set is distinctive, timeless, and charming - perfect for even the most discerning watch collectors.
