PAM00287 also features a striking black dial decorated with Panerai's signature luminous baton and Arabic hour markers, a stainless steel cushion-shaped case, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a leather bracelet. The date is presented at the 3-hour marker, and small seconds are displayed at the 9-hour marker. The name "Black Seal" is a tribute of sorts to the Italian Royal Navy's frogmen, a charming reference to Panerai's history. The pre-owned Panerai you see here is in overall excellent secondhand condition. In steel and leather, it's also an excellent gateway into Panerai ownership.
