Patek Philippe 3848
The Patek Ellipse is an excellent gateway into gold Patek Philippe ownership. This discontinued model features hand-wound technology, 18k yellow gold, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a handsome leather bracelet. It's irresistibly retro with its oval-shaped case and minimal hour markers. The example you see here was produced in the 1980s and pairs the lustrous yellow gold case with a vibrant blue dial. The result is a bold yet sophisticated statement piece you won't ever want to take off your wrist. This pre-owned Patek also features a Sigma dial, as distinguished by tiny symbols for the Greek letter sigma on either side of the "Swiss" text on the bottom of the dial. These symbols signify the use of precious metal on the dial.
