Pre-owned Rolex Yacht-Master 40 ref 116622 (2016). Rolex added the Yacht Master to its roster in the 1990s. It was similar to other professional series watches in that it also had the famous Mercedes hands on the dial, a rotatable bezel, and a tough, waterproof Oyster case. However, while the similarly-styled Submariner (waterproof to 300 meters) was meant for diving and underwater exploration, the Yacht-Master (waterproof to 100 meters) was meant for a life skimming across the ocean's surface, preferably even aboard a luxurious yacht. Its slightly more elevated design codes and unique fully metal bezel have made the YM a popular choice among many collectors. Ref. 116622 came to market in 2012, replacing the outgoing Rolesium ref. 16622. The case and bracelet are made of steel, while the bezel is furnished in 950 platinum. Furthermore, the dial features upgraded Chromalight, and the bracelet is outfitted with the upgraded Easylink clasp.
