It's rumored that the pilots of the British Royal Air Force had a preference for Rolex Oyster Perpetual watches. Rolex developed the Air-King as a nod towards these brave men, and drew inspiration from the subtle elegance of the Oyster Perpetual. The case is modest, measuring 34mm, and offers a resistance to depths of up to 330 feet. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, Twinlock screw-down crown, 904L steel, and COSC certified movement are all modern additions that only add to the appeal of this men's Rolex 114210. Luminous baton hour markers are also a relatively new feature and offer a legible reading.
