The gold Rolex 1503 Date that you see here today was produced some time in the late 1970s or early 1980s and is in very good secondhand condition. Its feature set includes a 14 karat yellow gold finish, an American oval link Jubilee bracelet secured by a Fliplock clasp, and a matching champagne dial topped with a yellow gold display and patina luminous plots. The Date is more notable for its modest 34mm case, which is just a few millimeters smaller than its larger cousin the Datejust. Many collectors prefer the Date over the Datejust for its modest feature set, and the all-gold ref. 1503 is an excellent choice to consider if you wish to add one to your watch box.
