Both models are similar in design and offer a waterproof Oyster case, a Perpetual movement with automatic winding, and a jump date mechanism on the dial. The Date has since become a success on the secondary market for its modest 34mm case size and classic Rolex feature set. This example is a stunning steel and gold Date that offers a tough exterior for daily wear as well as lustrous yellow gold for occasions that call for a dressier wristwatch.
