The Rolex 116200 Oyster Perpetual Datejust came to market in the mid-2000s and replaced the long-running ref. 16200. In addition to bringing with it a new-style bracelet and case, the ref. 116200 also boasts polished lugs, no holes on the case, and a secure Oysterclasp. The case is pressure-proof up to 100 meters, thanks to an innovative process that involves screwing the case back, bezel, and Twinlock crown into the Monobloc middle case.
