Rolex added a 41mm variation of the Datejust in 2009 via the Datejust II. In addition to offering a larger case size, the Datejust II was also outfitted with a then-new calibre 3136 perpetual movement, which boasts self-winding technology and a date complication. The ref. 116300 that is presented here today is the Oystersteel variation of the Datejust II that features 904L-grade stainless steel in a brushed and polished finish as well as a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a Twinlock screw-down crown with two waterproof sealed zones, and a dial topped with a large luminous display.
