The Datejust II made its debut during Basel World 2009 and was met with high esteem for its use of a larger 41mm Oyster case and a then-new calibre 3136 Perpetual movement. 5mm larger than the original Datejust, the Datejust II is modern, sleek, and sophisticated and is the watch of choice among many used Rolex collectors. The ref. 116333 that you see here today is a stunning Yellow Rolesor example of the line that features an Oystersteel and 18 karat yellow gold finish, a stunning champagne diamond dial, and a three-link Oyster bracelet with polished center links and a reliable Oysterclasp. The case is hermetically sealed via a process that involves screwing the case back, bezel, and Twinlock screw-down crown into the Monobloc middle case, protecting the movement for a lifetime of wear.
