Rolex Datejust Turn-O-Graph 116264
The Rolex Datejust Turn-o-Graph is considered by many horologists as one of the first Rolex tool watches. While its feature set suggests a Datejust dress watch at first glance, this timepiece is a tool watch at heart and boasts the brand's very first serially-produced rotatable bezel. The ref. 116264 is a newer example of the line that also goes by the name "Thunderbird". Its feature set includes a White Rolesor finish of stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold, a fluted bezel calibrated to 60-minute units, and a modern matte black dial, which is topped with silver indices, central sweep hands, luminous plots, and sporty red accents. The Thunderbird is also waterproof up to 100 meters and runs on a high-beat calibre 3135 Perpetual movement, making it an often-overlooked but still very intriguing secondhand Rolex.
