The newer-model Rolex Presidential Day-Date ref. 118208 that is presented here today boasts a somewhat more contemporary design than its 5-digit predecessors via a new-style case with slightly more robust lugs, a semi-circular President bracelet secured by a more solid concealed Crownclasp, and a polished bezel. The ref. 118208 also boasts waterproofness up to 100 meters via an innovative process that involves screwing the case back, bezel, and screw-down crown into the Monobloc middle case. This process hermetically seals the case and allows it to maintain a highly reliable reading during almost any activity. This handsome gold Rolex also features a striking white dial, which is set with gold Roman numeral hour markers and elegant central sweeping hands.
