The Rolex Presidential Day-Date came to market back in the 1950s, making it the first mechanical wristwatch to display the day of the week spelled out in full on the dial, never abbreviated. It also utilized another trailblazing feature, the 3 o'clock date introduced alongside the Datejust in 1945. Together with its exclusive use of precious metals, the supple three-link "President" bracelet on most variations, and innovative Rolex technology, the Day-Date has since become the watch to own among the powerful or influential. Ref. 128235 carries on that reputation, but in the brand's lovely Everose, an 18k rose gold alloy made in-house. The Rosé dial pairs beautifully with the Everose finish and is decorated here with brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds, the surrounding fluted bezel sparkling alongside the exquisite stones.
