Crafted entirely in 18k yellow gold, the watch pairs the classic Day-Date formula with a modern 40mm case, giving the President a slightly larger presence while keeping the overall aesthetic unmistakably traditional. This example features a champagne dial decorated with baguette-cut diamond hour markers. The diamonds add a layer of refinement without overpowering the design, especially against the warm tone of the gold dial. Surrounding it is the signature fluted bezel, one of Rolex’s most iconic design elements and a detail that has defined the Day-Date for decades. The watch is paired with the famous President bracelet, the semi-circular three-link bracelet created specifically for the Day-Date when the model debuted in 1956. Inside is the Rolex caliber 3255 automatic movement, powering the model’s signature displays: the full day of the week spelled out at 12 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock beneath the Cyclops lens. The result is a watch that stays true to the classic Day-Date look while bringing it into a slightly more contemporary size.
