The Rolex 116523 for sale here is the first two-tone Daytona to utilize a movement developed and produced entirely in-house. Since its inception in the 1960s, the Daytona has employed three generations of movements, the first being hand-wound, followed by an automatic movement outsourced to Zenith, and finally the Rolex cal. 4130. From 2000 to today, it remains the engine that drives the legendary chronograph. The Daytona has always maintained a nice balance between luxury and functionality, but ref. 116523 turns it up a notch with lustrous yellow gold and a classy white dial. This pre-owned Rolex will look just as exceptional at the 24-hour of Daytona as it will with a black tux and a tie.
