Shortly after the release of the first in-house Rolex calibre 4130 Daytona movement in the early 2000s, Rolex released an all-gold example via the ref. 116528 that you see here today. Presented in 18 karat yellow gold and produced entirely in-house, this Daytona of the highest quality and is widely sought after on the preowned Rolex market. Rolex offsets the luxurious gold finish with a sophisticated white dial, which is topped with traditional luminous baton hour markers, central sweep hands, contrasting chronograph registers, and a sporty red Daytona logo. The case maintains a 40mm diameter and wears on a flat-link Oyster bracelet secured by a folding Oysterlock clasp. What sets this example apart from other modern Daytona chronographs is the use of an all-gold Tachymeter bezel.
