Pre-Owned Rolex Sea-Dweller "James Cameron" Dial - 116660B
The James Cameron Rolex Deepsea ref. 116660B was introduced in 2014. What sets this variation of the Deepsea apart from other references in the line is the distinctive blue gradient dial, or "D-Blue" dial, which was developed as a nod towards director James Cameron's history-making solo dive to the Mariana Trench. The Deepsea offers the greatest resistance of any other timepiece in the Rolex catalog of up to 12,800 feet. The case is equipped with a triple-sealed Triplock screw-down crown as well as a thicker sapphire crystal, a titanium screw-down case back, and a Helium Escape Valve, allowing it to withstand the incredible pressures experienced at such depths. The Deepsea ref. 116660 also utilizes several modern upgrades, such as a ceramic bezel insert, a maxi dial with larger Chromalight markers and hands, a tool-free Glidelock clasp, and 904L Oystersteel, making it a very popular choice among preowned Rolex collectors.
