Rolex GMT-Master II Ref 16760 "Fat Lady Coke"
The "Fat Lady" or "Sophia Loren" GMT Master II ref. 16760 is characterized by a slightly thicker case, earning it its intriguing nicknames. The ref. 16760 is also notable as being the first GMT Master II, which was equipped with a then-new calibre 3185 or 3186 Perpetual movement with a newly-independent GMT hand. The movement was not as refined as its successors, which required a slightly thicker case. All references that followed the ref. 16760 offer a slimmed down case. The unique feature set as well as the horological significance of the ref. 16760 makes it a very sought-after collector's item.
