This used Rolex watch is in overall excellent pre-owned condition with just slight stretch in the bracelet consistent with age.

The ref. 16700 is the very last of the original GMT Master line, coming to market in 1988 and continuing production until the late 1990s. This reference was produced alongside its successor, the GMT Master II, for several years and was a popular choice among collectors who sought the brand's iconic pilot's watch but at a slightly more affordable price than its upgraded cousin. This particular used Rolex also introduced the line to a dial topped with luminous plots in white gold surrounds and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The ref. 16700 also features the line's iconic 24-hour rotatable bezel that can be read against the dedicated hand on the dial to sync with local time.
