Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 279160 (2016 - 2026). Rolex updated the Lady-Datejust from 26mm to 28mm in 2015. The result was a watch that was slightly more contemporary yet still a flattering size and weight on the wrist. With the newer case size, the 279XXX series also gained a newer movement, caliber 2236, with the brand's patented Syloxi hairspring in anti-magnetic silicon, a 55-hour power reserve, and a paramagnetic nickel-phosphorus escape wheel. Each movement powering any watch in the DJ series also features automatic winding, meaning the watch winds itself as the wearer moves their wrist. There's no need to set your watch if you wear it within the power reserve. Ref. 279160 is the full Oystersteel version of the Datejust 28. It sports a lovely Oyster bracelet with silky 3-piece links and a silver dial decorated with silvered Roman numerals.
