Pre-owned Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 ref. 126000 (2024) belongs to the latest generation of Oyster Perpetual watches, introduced in 2020 with updated movements, refined case proportions, and an expanded selection of dial colors. The Oyster Perpetual is one of Rolex's most traditional collections, tracing its roots to the original waterproof Oyster case introduced in 1926 and the self-winding Perpetual movement that followed in 1931. This example features a 36mm Oystersteel case with a smooth polished bezel and matching three-link Oyster bracelet. The sunburst blue dial is particularly attractive, featuring a subtle radial finish that changes appearance depending on how the light catches it. Applied baton hour markers and traditional Rolex hands are filled with Chromalight, providing a long-lasting blue glow in low light. Unlike the Datejust, the Oyster Perpetual does away with the date complication and Cyclops magnifier, giving the dial a cleaner, more symmetrical appearance. Inside is the automatic Rolex caliber 3230, the brand's latest-generation time-only movement, featuring a Chronergy escapement, blue Parachrom hairspring, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
