This edition of the Rolex Bubbleback Oyster Perpetual ref. 6108 was produced sometime in the early 1960s. "Bubbleback" is the term used by horology buffs to describe the shape of the case on many vintage Rolex watches. As its name suggests, the case back is slightly domed to accommodate the movement. It was refined long ago but still remains a beloved feature on many vintage Rolex watches. Other unique components that make this pre-owned Rolex highly collectible include older-style hour markers and hands, Tritium lume, an acrylic crystal, and an older-style American Oval link Jubilee bracelet.
