Rolex OysterQuartz Day Date
The Rolex 19018 is the OysterQuartz variation of the Day-Date that runs on a Quartz movement and showcases an integrated bracelet and angular case that are exclusive to the OysterQuartz line. Produced for a short time from the 1970s into the 1980s, the OysterQuartz line was Rolex's answer to an emerging trend among collectors for timepieces powered by Quartz movements. The trend didn't last for long, and the series was discontinued, making this particular preowned Rolex a widely sought-after collector's item by those in-the-know. In true Day-Date fashion, the case and bracelet are presented in gold, and the dial is topped with a jump date at 3 o'clock and the day spelled out in full at 12 o'clock.
