During the Quartz craze of the 1970s, Rolex developed their own line of timepieces that ran on quartz movements produced in-house. The OysterQuartz Datejust ref. 17000 is a product of that era and features a classic Datejust feature set as well as a Quartz movement. The case measures a traditional 36mm, similar to other Datejust timepieces, and features a waterproof screw-down crown and a sophisticated dial topped with a date aperture at 3 o'clock and elegant silver indices and hands. As an OysterQuartz timepiece, the case also features a more angular design and wears on a unique integrated bracelet in stainless steel. If you seek an intriguing statement piece, the secondhand Rolex 17000 is an excellent option to consider.
