The Rolex Sea-Dweller is an iconic deep saturation diver that offers waterproofness up to 1,220 meters/4,000 feet. The case is capable of withstanding such depths thanks to the addition of a waterproof screw-down crown and a Helium Escape Valve, the latter of while allows the gasses that accumulate within the case while diving to escape without dislodging the crystal. The ref. 116600 was the last 40mm Sea-Dweller produced that also boasts a Cyclops-free sapphire crystal, a ceramic bezel insert, 904L Oystersteel, and a maxi dial topped with longer-lasting luminous plots. The case and bracelet are presented in a desirable all-steel finish crafted from 904L Oystersteel, creating a versatile statement piece that is suitable for use on land or while at sea.
